Internships

Books might be the key to a great education, but experience is what it takes to unlock the door. At Sheetz, we can offer you the opportunity to put your education to work through our exciting internship programs. We provide a fast-paced, friendly environment in which to learn and develop practical business skills.

If you believe that you would be a great candidate for an internship position with Sheetz, please review the application guidelines below.

Keeping in mind the overwhelming popularity of our internship programs and the limited number of positions available for applicants, we suggest you submit your information as early as possible.

  • Applicant must meet all Sheetz employment guidelines, including drug and background checks as well as appearance standards.
  • Opportunities are only open to students whose academic course work requires an internship for graduation.
  • Priority will be given to current students who are Sheetz employees, family members of current Sheetz employees and previous Sheetz interns.
  • Those applicants who do not meet the qualifications of the internship program above, but are interested in a temporary summer position, could be called to interview for positions for which qualified applicants are not available.

“Hi Stan…This is not a question….just a comment! My son who is a Senior at PSU Altoona is completing an internship with your corporation. He’s always heard that Sheetz is a great place to work! They always say the “Proof is in the Pudding.” Well…this pudding served to be true! He has had such a great experience working in your Telecommunications Department. Thank you for making Sheetz such a great experience! You should be proud of your team!”
